Terms at bikephotos.co.uk

These terms cover buying photos, booking your own bike shoot and gift vouchers from Ed Curthoys (Ed Curthoys Photography), Sandhurst, Berkshire. Contact: ed@bikephotos.co.uk. Nothing here affects your legal rights as a consumer.


1. Roadside and event photos

  • Prices and bundle offers are shown in the gallery store at checkout.
  • Digital downloads are available straight away. Once you've downloaded them you can't cancel, because you asked for them immediately.
  • Prints and mugs are made to order with your photo, so they can't be returned unless they arrive faulty or damaged. If that happens, send me a photo within 14 days and I'll replace it free.


2. Using your photos

  • Copyright stays with Ed Curthoys. Buying a photo gives you a personal licence to:
  • print it, frame it and keep it;
  • share it on social media and use it as a profile picture. A tag to @edcurthoysphotography is always appreciated.
  • Please don't sell it, use it in advertising or for a business, or remove the credit. If you want to use a photo commercially, get in touch and we'll sort out a licence.


3. Your own bike shoot

  • What you get: about an hour on a road you choose, and 15 to 20 edited photos delivered digitally, for £150. Travel up to 50 miles from Sandhurst is included; further afield on request.
  • Deposit: £40 holds your date and comes off the £150. The balance is due before any photos are delivered. The same day of delivery is fine.
  • Cancelling within 14 days of booking: you get a full refund of your deposit, unless the shoot has already happened at your request.
  • After that: more than 48 hours' notice, and I'll rearrange for free. Less than 48 hours' notice, or not turning up, and the deposit is kept.
  • Bad weather: if I call it off for weather, we rearrange at no cost.
  • Safety: you ride within the law and your own limits, and you're responsible for your bike and riding at all times. No stunts or wheelies on public roads. I can stop a shoot if it isn't safe.


4. Gift vouchers

  • Each voucher is worth one £150 bike shoot, within 50 miles of Sandhurst, and has a unique number.
  • It's valid for 12 months from purchase and can be used once.
  • Voucher holders don't pay a deposit.
  • Refunds: the full amount is refunded if you ask within 14 days of purchase and the voucher hasn't been used. After that it's non-refundable and can't be exchanged for cash.
  • Lost your voucher? Email me with the purchase details and I'll reissue it.


5. If something goes wrong

  • I'm fully insured. I'm not responsible for losses I couldn't reasonably have foreseen. If I can't deliver what you paid for, I'll refund you.


6. The legal bit

  • These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
